With a 2007-2008 enrollment of nearly 70,000 students at 67 campuses, Fort Bend ISD is the seventh-largest school district of the more than 1,200 public school districts in Texas. Families from around the world move to Fort Bend, drawn by the district’s reputation and its focus on student achievement and development. To address a variety of vocational interests as well as special learning needs, the district also includes the Technical Education Center, the M. R. Wood Alternative Learning Center and the Progressive High School.
